[Wake up to live and die creating]

Aura Merz: Channeler of worlds

I was born in Chile,
nestled in the knots of the earth,
bathed by the cerulean metal of the ocean.

Since I was a child
I wanted to fly,
and to achieve it,
I had to crawl
through the shadowy
and narrow
tunnels of the soul;
fade away, to originate myself;
fragment, to build myself.

I use art as an expressive language,
as a duty of my existence.
My talent emanates from the desire,
from the unbreakable desire to fly.

[I want to soak up worlds,
of new winds,
so that my wings may sprout]

THE ARTIST, THE CHANNELER OF WORLDS

The artist acts as a medium, a channel endowed with profound sensitivity that allows them to explore immaterial, intangible, and energetic worlds, as well as the depths of the subconscious. With the ability to navigate these realms, capture information, and bring it into the physical world, the artist interprets and translates this energy through their artistic expression. Thus, art becomes a bridge between the invisible and the tangible, allowing the subtlest realities to find voice and form in our everyday world. More than an aesthetic manifestation, art represents the connection between the energy of the universe and human essence, revealing the invisible forces that surround us and inviting us to explore our own existence.

The artist not only manages but also connects these dimensions, merging the ethereal with the concrete in each of their works. In doing so, they facilitate the integration of this information for others, provoking deep reflections in each viewer and playing a crucial role in the collective evolution of humanity.

Art not only challenges but also dismantles entrenched structures and patterns of thought in society. This transformative capacity resides in the strength and relevance of art in our cultural and personal evolution, acting as a catalyst for change, introducing new perspectives, and enriching our understanding of the world and ourselves.

Art stands as a powerful agent of awareness, serving as a mirror that reflects our deepest fears, prompting us to confront and transform them. It exposes us to hidden and taboo subjects, allowing us to explore our inner darkness and facilitating a personal and social rebirth. Through art, we can dismantle the established and make space for the new, thus contributing to our individual and collective evolution.

Additionally, art serves as a link to the universe, connecting us with the spirit and revealing that we are part of something greater than our physical existence. The artist plays a fundamental role as an interpreter of profound and difficult-to-express truths. Through vibrations expressed in colorful canvases, symbols, movements, sounds, and words, the artist elevates and exposes these immaterial worlds, offering a window into deeper dimensions of the human experience.
