STATEMENT

My artistic work presents a philosophical-mystical process, manifested through the use of line, shape, the human figure, color, and words. It proposes a dynamic journey that offers the viewer an opportunity to meditate on the nature of human experience and its reality.

My works invite contemplative observation, suggesting an understanding of the underlying schemes beyond the purely physical spectrum. Each piece provides access to the mental, emotional, and spiritual configurations of the human being, establishing an endless array of perceptual relationships about existence. Thus, my works navigate through countless particles of information that fragment the solid structure of reality, creating a dialogue between visible and invisible territories.

My visual language is shaped from a perspective where worlds are constructed from the convergence of the corporeal and the ethereal dimensions, assuming the texture of a web of symbolisms and metaphors. Images of the universe blend with folds of human life, where each work becomes a reflective topic that invites meditative thought in the observer.

It is known that color activates and stimulates thought and emotions, so the aesthetic experience my work proposes seeks to evoke certain emotional responses in the viewer when observing each piece. Thus, the visual and poetic narrative aligns through the use of a geometric cushion of color that supports the human figures, generating excitement, movement, and action, or enhancing the sense of stillness, immobility, and heaviness.

In my drawings, one can observe strokes of free and spontaneous expression that arise from automatism to give shape, movement, and expression to each illustrated figure. The lines tangle and intertwine, mixing and overlapping, thus nullifying technique and allowing form to emerge from anti-form. It is an alchemical process, where disorder is transfigured into an aesthetic expression of balance and harmony. In this process, the drawing becomes a container of unconscious strokes that merge spirit and matter, pain and expansion, shadow and consciousness.

When contemplating my works, the viewer can perceive how chaos and order coexist and complement each other in a dialogue that highlights the innate capacity of the human being to transcend difficulties and find harmony in the complexity of life. The unconscious strokes expressed through the lines encapsulate the duality of existence, recognizing the potential that arises from harmonizing internal chaos.

Some of my paintings disintegrate concrete, seemingly impenetrable reality to glimpse an immaterial reality. Many of my pieces are constructed from pieces of paper taken from philosophical texts, which rest on the canvas to receive human figures formed by a variety of colors. This technique fragments the essence of what we are, showing how we are built from experiences, beliefs, small moments, interactions, pains, phrases, thoughts, and emotions that shape our uniqueness.

The fragmentation in the construction of my drawings reveals how the different parts of our lives connect to form a coherent and unique whole. Through the combination of paper, colors, and figure, my works capture the richness of our internal diversity and the way each experience contributes to the creation of our individual identity. Each fragment of colored paper symbolizes a particular component of the human experience, reflecting the complexity and richness of our lives, while the selected philosophical texts establish a framework that enriches and contextualizes the theme of each piece. Thus, the human figures in my paintings are not mere representations but multidimensional constructions that encapsulate the entirety of our identity. Through this fusion of elements, my works seek to express the complexity and depth of the human experience.

A final point to consider in my artistic work is movement, which becomes an open window to the soul, where each human figure portrays the tensions, aspirations, and inner truths of the human being, delving into the very essence of Being. Therefore, every gesture and action seeks to testify to the constant dialogue between the body and the soul. From this perspective, the body is not merely displayed as a material vessel but acts as a channel through which the soul finds its voice in the physical world.

In my latest series of works, I use movement as a means to explore and reflect on concepts such as time, space, balance, synchronicity, and the relationship between movement, speed, and emotional states. Thus, through moving geometric forms, I attempt to evoke an aesthetic experience that reflects the intersection between the finite and the infinite, the ephemeral and the eternal. In this exploration, space is constantly redefined, acquiring new dimensions as the forms shift. Consequently, the moving geometric figures not only represent physical transit but also act as a tool that elicits a specific response in the observer. In this way, art becomes a means to question immediate reality, offering the viewer the opportunity to meditate on these essential philosophical concepts.

In conclusion, my artistic approach is founded on the convergence between philosophy and mysticism, exploring concepts such as Being, truth, freedom, beauty, time, reality, mind, body, spirit, the transcendent, and the divine. Through a complex interaction between visible and invisible dimensions, my works induce a journey of both personal and collective discovery. Each piece unfolds multiple layers of meaning that invite the viewer not only to appreciate them aesthetically but also to immerse themselves in a web of poetic elements and symbolic expressions that promote deep reflection and an enriching understanding of oneself and the universe.
